Writing stories for 6 months

One of the greatest joys of working on my books almost exclusively these last 6 months or so is the freedom to create on my own terms. No longer bound by the confines of a PhD, I've found liberation in the flexibility to craft my stories at any hour that suits my muse. Whether it's burning the midnight oil or basking in the golden glow of dawn, the canvas of my imagination is always open for exploration.

As a writer, the past few months have been a journey of discovery amidst the cozy confines of my home. While the world outside may have been bustling with chaos and uncertainty, there's been a solace in the sanctuary of my own space, where creativity knows no bounds and inspiration lurks around every corner.

There's the bliss of uninterrupted solitude. I've relished in the tranquility of my thoughts, diving deep into the recesses of my mind to unearth hidden gems. With nothing but the gentle hum of the keyboard for company, the creative process becomes a sacred dance between writer and words.

But perhaps the most precious gift of all has been the gift of time. Freed from the constraints of a daily commute, I've reclaimed those precious hours and poured them into my craft. Whether it's delving into research for a new project, refining the nuances of character development, or simply letting my imagination run wild, each moment spent at my desk feels like a precious investment in my passion.

Of course, being a writer isn't without its challenges, but that's a post for another day.

Amidst the ebb and flow of creativity, there's a certain magic to be found in the rhythm of the daily writing routine – a rhythm that pulses with the heartbeat of being home, literally and metaphorically.
