we could all use a little HYGGE

I think we could all use a little hygge in our life. This word was popularized by author Meik Wiking, in his book The Little Book Of Hygge: The Danish Way To Live Well. This term, however, is ingrained in Danish culture. It is the concept that encompasses a quality of coziness, the feeling of quiet comfort and conviviality, contentment and well-being. Elements of hygge include plush textures, greenery, and warm, neutral shades. Of course, it goes without saying that you cannot be cozy if you're stressed, even though your surroundings may be totally hygge. The feeling hygge is supposed to evoke is extreme coziness. It's about slowing down, embracing the moment, and paying attention to the essentials. Spending a calm afternoon with a friend is also hygge.

In case you're confused this is how you pronounce this word: [ˈh(j)uːɡə, ˈhʊɡə]
